Perfume Genius “Live At The Palace Theatre” Video and Show Tonight!
Perfume Genius’ 2020 release, Set My Heart On Fire Immediately, topped my list of best albums and songs of 2020. Thankfully not lost to the early pandemic, the album topped quite a few lists that year. Thankfully, the band can take the album on the road as they prep a new release.
Ugly Season drops in June, along with an accompanying film by Jacolby Satterwhite comprised of songs written for the 2019 dance piece The Sun Still Burns here, done with choreographer Kate Wallich. The piece played in several places around the country, including here in December 2019. Some of the songs have been released since that time (like the below “Pop Song”) but expect a great new collection.
Meanwhile late last year the “Live At The Palace Theatre” (not the one here) dropped featuring a pro-shot live set from September to get you excited about seeing them live again.
