Stream Kids Ski Free’s Latest EP
Kids Ski Free are a local four piece that have been making arty punk/rock music since around 2018. They recently released their latest EP, a self-titled collection of six new songs. The new material feels drawn from a lot of influences – post punk, emo, indie rock, and more. There is quite a bit of exploring done between the EP’s first track (nearly spoken word no fi nursery poem) and its last (a plaintive piano ballad).
Regardless what sonic territory they are exploring, the band’s comfort changing lanes demonstrates that they are clearly talented at constructing memorable tunes. Hopefully the latest material (which you can stream/purchase here) finds the audience it deserves.
