Sweetblood: Stream the new Sky Power EP
We were just speculating the other month around whether Sweetblood would ever release an album (after several singles released over the past year). Lo and behold, the first Sweetblood EP just released a few weeks ago and it’s a real gem. Sky Power is four songs that very much follow the kind of easy breezy summer jam vibe that the past singles have been perfecting. Each tune (with the exception of synth-driven “Habit”) lays down a jaunty guitar melody and then punctuates it with keys, percussion, bass, and Wade Underwood’s blissed out vocals. Serve it up at your next summer party along with some cold drinks, and the chill vibe is almost guaranteed to flow.
