After an early year postponement, UK post-punks shame finally are hitting the US behind 2021’s album Drunk Tank Pink. Expanding from their already excellent debut Songs Of Praise, shame took their raucous dark post-punk sound into an even more refined second album maturity. “The Side Of The Sun” dropped as a non-album single late last year. Jerky mathy rhythms are punctuated by some great dueling staccato guitar and frontman Charlie Steen’s sometimes Mark E Smithesque bark. shame have pretty legendary wild live show so don’t miss this one.
