Listen to Fievel Is Glauque’s Chamber Pop and See’m Opening for Stereolab Wednesday in Minneapolis
Sometimes bands opening for well-known headliners don’t really make sense. but Fievel Is Glauque opening for Stereolab is not one of those cases. The group is a shape-shifting collective led by Zach Phillips and Ma Clément. They created baroque pop music that has the same French-cool flair of Stereolab, if a bit less motor and a bit more coffee-shop arty. Their music captures the cool funk of some of classic library music with an eye towards pop experimentation in a way that is engaging and rich. You can listen to their latest single below and dive into their wide-ranging and enjoyable catalog via their Bandcamp page.
They will join Stereolab at First Avenue on Wednesday, Sept. 28th. The show starts at 8pm sharp and tickets are a cool $40. Find more info and buy tickets HERE.
