Watch Honey Harper’s Cosmic Urban Cowboy Video “Boots Mine Gold” (Show Monday!)
There’s something about the visual William Fussell’s look and facial hair progression from the first Honey Harper full-length that makes his baritone sound even more otherworldly than the cosmic glam country of 2020’s Starmaker. Besides a more significant songwriting role from co-founder Alana Pagnutti, the new Honey Harper band assembled a cast of greats from bands like Spoon, Calexico, and TOPS. The results drive even deeper into the unique sound they previously explored. “Boots Mine Gold” is the newest single from the recently dropped Honey Harper & The Infinite Sky album that came out at the end of last month. A sci-fi opening and a great urban cowboy bar performance make an excellent backdrop for the standout single from the album. Check it out and then hit Amsterdam to check out the band on an opening slot, knowing you’ll probably see them back headlining in no time.
