Introducing: The charming bedroom indie pop of “Caught in a Trap” by Family Ledgers (Tape Release Show Tonight!)

Family Ledgers is a new, solo bedroom project of local musician Greg Sullo, and he’s released a track called “Caught in a Trap” ahead of the full release of his debut tape New Dad. “Caught in a Trap” mines the enchanting, mid-2000s indie pop vibes that blend smart songwriting with ethereal soundscapes, stretching out over six downcast-yet-blissful minutes. The lead track showcases the pristine bedroom sound that, as Sullo describes, was created at home when his family went to sleep. We’re looking forward to hearing the whole record.

You can grab the tape tonight (Sat, Feb. 15th) at Palmers when Family Ledgers are joined by two Andrew Jansen projects (Cha Cha and Loud Sun) for what should be a great night of music. It’s $10 at the door and music starts at 9pm. More info HERE.
